I just bought an iPod but have no clue on how to upload music or video onto it. Someone mentioned something about downloading iTunes and doing it that way. Any help is appreciated. No, I don't think throwing it down the driveway will make it download the music any faster.

ok so download itunes and with i tunes open and running plug in your ipod.

i believe i tunes will ask you to scan your PC for music, select yes. that will automatically add all the music you have on your pc to your library.

on the left side are all your options. it should show your library on top with a few more options. then below that it will have your i pod.

you can drag music from your library down to your ipod. one song at a time or multiple.
you can also add play lists in the i pod to help separate your music. i believe that option is under the file tab on the menu

Plug your iPod into a USB port and pray your PC recognizes it.   Once iTunes has found all your music, drag and drop it over to the iPod icon on the left panel.

lol. just like anything it will take time for your to get used to it but its fairly simple.

when you download i tunes it also wants you to download quicktime. thats ok to have. dont download any of the other programs. safari and whatever else, you dont need those.
every now and again you will get an update pop up and it will ask you to download those programs, just cancel it.

how do you delete a song that you already downloaded?

Click your iPod icon to see the songs installed on it.

Then select the song and delete it (right click? press DEL? I forget).
