I google and google and i come up with 100 different looking poison ivy plants. Anyways I live in las vegas area so they are not common weeds. this was growing in a crack about 2" between my block wall and my house.
Just dont want the kids around them if they are. I ripped out this one.

PI may have a couple 'notches' along the leaf edge, but nothing like that sawtooth edge.

Nope. Come over my house and jump over the back fence and roll around. You will never forget what it looks like. I fight it out of my yard, but cant do much with the stuff in the woods behind the fence. Its just everywhere back there.

Negative.

Depending on where you are, PI this time of the year turns bright red as it does dormant for the winter. This time of year is good for finding it and killing it.

I have vines of PI growing up trees. Snip a foot long gap off the vine and pour roundup in the spring

Virginia Creeper has 5 leafs like that and grows like an ivy.  It is harmless to people.

You can spray it.  The poison ivy spray doesn't kill trees, just woody plants and ivy.

I have Ivy, oak, and sumac in my yard.  Ivy is the only one that will get me.  Some of my trees are covered in huge Sumac vines and so far after 20 years nothing.  I do try to avoid it but it brushes me often when mowing.  Ivy I try to kill whenever I find it!!!!
