Ok Using the EE I built an ar15 for right at 540. I feel that I can do it again but better with mods. There is a gun show next weekend and ar15's are always overpriced there. I feel confident I can sell it for 750-800 but it is my first ar and the first I have built.

Specs : cmmg lower with cmmg lpk, Carbine DP.MS ban era A1 upper, 4 pos stock, UTG grip.

I would build essential arms lower (80), lpk (50) magpul stock (100) carbine upper off EE (350) MAID (35) bushnell holosight (200) = roughly 815

Would you sell to build another or just keep what i have?

Why not just build another? You can always reconfigure this one as well, and sell off any old parts you aren't going to be using.

Keep this one.

And

Build another one.

I vote keep it and build the other one as you get spare cash.

I did the same thing this past weekend, though I sold an extra AR to fund an RAS, EO553, light mount.

Sell it...Make money. Just document the sell and do it legal.

You're selling a CMMG lower for an Essential Arms?

A lower is a lower IMO

Basically since I'm in college I really don't have much extra cash so to build another would take a long time. I think selling is going to be the easiest way to upgrade rifles. I wish I could keep it and build another but thats just not possible.

If I do decide to slowly build one it will be a pistol

Don't get caught in this cycle.  I have bought and sold more shit that I have regretted always thinking "I can just build another one."  Now I am in a rush to make sure I've got the stuff I want.  Keep it and build another one.

I never ever ever sell a used firearm FTF (ie no FFL involved in the same state) without getting a bill of sale.  Just my opinion.

I never take any information that is not required by the state when selling a long gun.

NC doesn't require any information

Keep it.

If you do sell it take that money and buy as many stripped lowers you can get.

$800 bucks should get you at least 6.

Then build them slowly one at a time as needed. Scour the EE for the deals.

I know you say "I don't need six AR's" but if the AWB comes again it may be a better
investment that most all stocks are now.

How does it run/shoot?  Never sell an accurate and good shooter.

Keep it and get another. Or better yet, keep it and get an AK next.
