apparently a skunk thought it would be a good idea to die under my apartment, or maybe in the attic.  came home from work sunday night and my apartment just smelled a little like skunk spray.  the smell kinda died down so I figured it was just a quick spray.

came home yesterday and the whole apartment smelled worse than anything I have ever smelled before.  everything I own is ruined.  that smell has permeated everything and it will never come out.  this was the last straw with this shady, worthless landlord.  I tossed all my shit in my truck and moved out.

had to call in sick to work today so I can spend all day looking for a new place to live.  problem is, there is nothing down here south of San Antonio right now.  especially nothing that I can move in to right away.  looks like I have to get a hotel room at 100 bucks a night till I can find something else.

fuck skunks.  fuck shady landlords, fuck the oilfield boom for bringing me down here and taking all the available housing.

anyone have a house for rent within 30 miles or so of Pleasanton TX. that I can move into immediately and won't cost me a fortune for a deposit and rent?  gotta find a place for me, my friend and his wife and daughter so they can get away from this shitty landlord too.

I sure the skunk wasn't exactly thrilled about dying under your house.

Been getting better.  I have to be there at 2am and it's 7pm now and my clothes still have an hour to go before they are dry.  I can still smell the skunk.  My scumbag landlord already rented out my apartment and it still smells like hell.  He is charging the new tenant even more.  Got all my stuff in storage today and got a hotel room for the next 5 days at an insane price per night.

Shunks are the number one carrier of rabies...kill every one you see.

I've got a friend that has one for a pet.  Other than that, I shoot them on sight.

I'd go with the Chris Farley Matt Foley option.

Do you have insurance?  You know, like fire insurance, but for dead/rotten/stinking skunk corpses?

There was this dude, 50calshooter, or something like that.  He had a thing about skunks if I remember correctly. Juss' saying.

I don't think I've ever seen a skunk that was NOT rabid.    (daylight hours, walking funny, tame, etc)

Its not in the attic probably under the house. Put out a bowl of clear ammonia in each room to absorbe the smell.

I kind of like the smell of roadkill polecat.  Sometimes it reminds me of a good dark roast coffee and other times it reminds me of a good beer.  Living with it 24/7 might turn me against both.

That sucks!

Hope you find somethin' quick.

Skunks never bothered me too much, but I never had that happen, and I'd hate them with a passion if it did.
