found a metal e2 infantry insignia that appears to have been soaked in blood. nice and crusty and a bit corroded. hope this trooper made it

we've pulled more than a few bloody items from the boxes in the past. this one just kinda struck me funny. i don't ever recall guys wearing the pin on insignia in the field when i was in. makes me wonder what happened with this on. we have really gotten some cool stuff through drmo. we got a marine's duffle bag that has all of his duty stations written on it along with his combat assignments by region and city. some have several tick marks by them. i have a lst name and have been trying to find the guy. i thought it would be cool to return his duffel to him. |

well i am assuming it's infantry. single stripe with a pair of crossed rifles beneath it. or is this marine e2? hmmm i gotta look over my enlisted ranks. been too damn long since i got out. i figured this was a spiffy new thing to go with those gay assed black berets. it was attached to an Army bdu cap. |
