just saw on the news, meth ADDICTION is up 57 percent in 3 years. WHAT THE FUCK. do we not provide enough education in highschool about "not smoking toilet bowl cleaners" i have alot of family in a certain small town in northern MN and ive watched the whole city slide downhill to meth use... good looking women look 15 years older and disgusting- while popping out baby after baby to random fathers... ive been no angel when it comes to drugs but... METH ?!?!?! how the fuck do you push something like that onto your friends, or enough decide itll be a good idea to use it on your own? im glad to read of the recent bust though, 70 pounds of meth transported by.... illegal mexicans... |
|
I, too, certainly have been no angel as concerns usage of certain things on this earth, and that is *my* business. But, it was *VERY* easy to see what was happening to folks who were using that pointless garbage. I don't know if what it's being cooked with is "different" now, or what, but there was PLENTY of "biker's speed", or meth, around in San Jose, when I was a youngster. And while, like I said, it was very easy to watch folks go downhill and quickly with that crap, it WAS NOT like it is now. It's like the garbage out there now is just somehow worse than the garbage of yore, if that is possible. Hey kids, don't smoke toilet bowl cleaners, mmmkay? |
There isn't much meth use-that I'm aware of-in northern Illinois, where I live. However, in southern Illinois, there is quite a lot of use(that is documented on the news), and it has gotten to the point where-like other states-products that contains pseudoephedrine are behind the pharmacy counters at stores due to the fact that the ingredients are used to make meth. I watch a lot of Cops, meth use is EVERYWHERE! |
You do know that it *is* not just possible, but quite consistent in thought and theme, to believe that drug abuse is a bad thing, but that the "war" on drugs is worse, right? You *do* know that personal responsibility is a wonderful thing, right? |
are you reffering to Hitlers doctors? supposedly, his doctor hooked him up with "a magical drug" that made him give one hell of a good speech with alot of intensity. |
![]() --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tallahassee ARFCOM Shoot this Sunday! Check hometown forum for details. |
Damn. The Dutchman had to fill you in on American history. Hang your head in shame. |
damm N_T, you are good for something! ![]() |
Exactly and with that all the other users of this cheapley made abuse of or addiction drug that turns the user into Non-Humans,Thanks for your reply |
|
I live in the middle of it all ! My city in Arkansas was #1 in the state, in a state that was #2 behind CA... tweekers everywhere ! Drug task force came in and busted alot of the cooks and new people started to try to cook and tweekers were dropping DEAD everywhere, I thought it was funny as HELL ! |
|
We had a big problem here in Oregon BUT WE'VE SOLVED THE METH PROBLEM HERE!! That's right ladies and gentlemen, our states legislature under the devine guidance of Sen Ginny Burdick has made any cold medicine with acetaminophen to be prescription only. I'm so damned happy. Now the evil meth will go away because criminals are too stupid to figure out a way around such clever laws. Do our leaders look out for us or what. |
it's the equivalent of calling someone a racist when you can't win an argument, liberals do it all the time. |
You live in North Central Arkansas right?

Murdering the users isn't a solution. Matter of fact only the lowest, most morally bankrupt individual could advocate poisoning human beings who haven't been convicted of a capital crime by a jury of their peers. The meth epidemic has been exascerbated by prohibition, not alleviated by it. Every time a drug is criminalized another cheaper, more dangerous drug fills its place. Crank is everywhere because of availability, very few would do it if coke were plentiful. Drugs are bad, prohibition just makes everything worse. All that being said, Meth is one drug where distribution should carry a serious penalty. It isn't the same thing as MJ, or even the other botanicals. |

I've got three cousins that have been to prison because a that shit, not jail but federal ass pound prison....got another that gave up her 4 year old son cause of it too. Two of em(brothers) got their mothers(she's a biker/tweaker) and their grandmothers homes confiscated because they were manufacturing and dealing out of them. These guys are hardcore, they don't smoke it,they shoot it. |
I said the war on drugs is a sham because they leave the border open(war on terror too)does that make me an 87? |
wrong its not acetaminophen. that is what is in tylenol. I believe you are thinking of PSEUDOEPHEDRINE, that is used in the manufacture of meth. And Oklahoma has the same law, but is not hard for the cooks to go to texas or another state that its legal to get it over the counter |
DOH! Ah yes you are correct... Pseudoephedrine! |
You are wrong. Meth doesnt do that, the people do that do themselves. Blaming an inanimate object for a person's problems is like a liberal claiming that guns made someone a murderer. |
Hey, what a great way to lose a few pounds! |

I honestly do not give a fuck about the meth "epidemic." I care just as much about all the little white boys and girls ruining thier lives with meth as i do about all the black kids hooked on crack, which is to say that I dont at all. I do not care at all about any junkies and I dont want my tax payer dollars going to fight it or help them. They way you deal with drug addicts is to let them die on thier own, and in the off chance that one tries to violate your rights you kill them in self defense. Thats it, thats all you need to do to deal with the drug problem. How fucking hard is that? Why does society want to coddle these fuckers, why does our government waste our money locking these fuckers up and giving them free fucking room and board. |
I think this country's drug problem is more complicated than that. |
wonderful attitude
|
You're absolutely right. However that does not leave out the fact that meth kills in more ways than digestion, injection or inhalation. don't pull that liberal sh*t on me. I took a bullet over meth....f*ck it I'm not explaining this on the net. |
Silly Rabbit, the meth supply is already poisoned. Some tweaker makes it out of cold pills, drain cleaner, acid and paint thinner. That shit is not a drug; it’s a neon sign that the lemmings use to find the cliff. |
|
I did meth a couple dozen times over the course of a few years. I haven't touched the stuff and haven't had a desire to for just about a decade now. I was never busted, never made the stuff, and never sold it. I never stole from anybody to fund it either. I was a hard working, tax paying citizen then, and I am now. If I had been busted and sent to prison, what would that have accomplished? It would have taken me out of the tax paying base, cost the rest of you for my incarceration, and who knows if I would be on the stuff now. It just isn't that cut and dry as some would paint it to be. eta: I'm not for legalization of drugs (except maybe for marajuana) either, but the solution isn't to send every god damn person that is caught with drugs to prison for 30 years. |
Yes obviously the answer is more government intervention, since it has worked wonders like curing aids and stopping all other drug problems right?
|
I have no idea where that came from,i was just trying to make a point about the way it takes people many years to finally understand what things like these do to them. |
