So I walk into my kitchen with my plate after supper to find a pretty good size mouse sitting on the counter. As soon as I flipped the light on he scurried across the counter. i tried to get him but he got away and ran in a hole beside the Dishwasher.
What should i do to get rid of him and maybe prevent others?? Upon my wifes request I ran to Kroger and got some glue traps to put out and was going to get some Dcon but they were out. Any suggestions are welcome.. Also, there are two outside cats so not sure how the mouse slipped past them.. Thanks in advance. |

I posted a mouse thread recently got some good advice.
I bought some jr eaton "jawz" traps off amazon. They are awesome. Made one of the bucket water traps but didn't get many with it. My advice would be to thoroughly inspect your house to seal up places that they could sneak in. They can squeeze through a hole slightly bigger than a pencil. Use steel wool and expanding foam. Then put out about a dozen traps and keep them out until you stop catching mice. I ended up catching like five or six adults and then over the course the next week about five or six little babies. I was outside with my camera a while back and I heard something in the trash can. Opened it and saw this popcorn bag bouncing around. I grabbed it quickly and put it up on top of the trash can to see what came out and had my camera ready to go. ...this is what was in the bag. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/zack3gpics/d90/fd968b8d.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/zack3gpics/d90/4a5ae280.jpg Great shots! |
