... & what I don't have is a rock the size of your wife's!! Good job you!! Eh, that's my sister's hand/ring... Glad you raised the little cat, it is a very rewarding experience. As for his age, he is absolutely 2 months old which is why he's so precious. |

Can you post what the vet subscribed? (brand names or generics)
That kitten is at least, undernourished, dehydrated, and suffering from severe eye/upper respiratory infection. You should make sure all three of those things are being addressed. Also, DO NOT underestimate the benefits of a human torso, attention and warmth. Cats will survive some of the most horrific injuries given nursing care and constant attention, take a day or two off and just be with the kitten and you can greatly increase it's survival chances and healing rate. |

Quoted: Why would anyone hope their newborn kitten would die??? DId they feed him and take care of him? farms can get over run with barn cats and cats that people drop off, usually they are shot or killed in some manner rather than just allowing them to die. Anyway cute little kittah |

Poor baby Sheb... As I type this I have a grey tiger kitten sleeping in my lap... He's now 9 weeks old, currently weighs all of 18 ounces and is on 3 different antibiotics for eye infections, pneumonia and a skin infection. I found him in my yard 3 weeks ago today lying in a ball gasping for breath. I immediately took him to my vet, she's the best with all my other cats. Three weeks ago he weighed 8 ounces and the vet didn't hold out much hope due to his pneumonia and emaciated condition but we tried... now he's alert, active, and putting on weight. He has another vet appointment this afternoon, hopefully we can start removing some of the antibiotics. He still has trouble eating but the Hills A/D prescription food is really helping. He's cost me over $200 so far and is worth every penny... RIP Sheb Wooley, you will be missed... Edited for spelling... |

My cat started out as a runt no bigger than him, maybe even smaller. She would sit on your shoulder (like a pirate's parrot) and let you ferry her around. (Holding on with her needle like claws) She's still small, but she won't take shit from anyone, including dogs 20 times her size. |

At least he lived a few weeks better than any barn cat ever will. That he did. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b367/thunderw21/more%20stuff/001-7.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b367/thunderw21/more%20stuff/002-6.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b367/thunderw21/more%20stuff/003-6.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b367/thunderw21/more%20stuff/004-5.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b367/thunderw21/more%20stuff/005-5.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b367/thunderw21/more%20stuff/006-3.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b367/thunderw21/more%20stuff/007-4.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b367/thunderw21/more%20stuff/008-2.jpg Cute little bugger. Looks like he really enjoyed his time with you, too. |
