I have a 2005 taurus se in my bay right now with a B2293 airbag code. I Work for toyota and none of our scantools will give us details. I tried google but it was giving me a bunch of bs.

Thanks.

Codes like that are easier to do with an IDS, but myself being away from the dealer I've made due on them.

Is it flashing an LFC?  Key on, engine off, does the airbag light flash a code?  B2293 is kind of a generic DTC indicating there's a fault with the driver's and/or passenger's front mount airbags.  If it's flashing 19 (one flash, pause, then nine flashes), that's driver's side, 21 (two flashes, pause, one flash) is passenger's side.

What scan tool are you using?  Will it display airbag resistance?

Its flashing a 19, using our tis techstream scantool and a mid range matco scanner. Matco scanner said seatbelt pretensioner.

Negative, a pretensioner would be a B24-something.

Can you check the airbag resistance with your scanners?  Does the horn and cruise control work?

Only time I've seen a driver's airbag fault was because of a broken clockspring.
