If you are going for all out performance on this beast, I'd recommend two things for hard drives..

If you want to do a RAID on it, you could get two large drives, say 500 GB, put them in a striping RAID. This basically means that when you save a file, it puts part on one drive and part on the other... when it reads, it pulls from both places. I have this on my system and I load maps usually before most people. Back up is key though in this configuration, because if one drive goes down, they both go down.

Second option would be to buy 15k RPM SATA drives. They spin a lot faster and can pull data quick. You pick the size... all depends on how much you download, install and store. I myself have over 900 GB's, but that is because I store a lot of images and download a lot.

BTW, here's my wish list (see anything wrong with it?):

2 EVGA 768-P2-N881-AR E-GEFORCE 8800 Ultra 621MHZ 768MB 2.16GHZ GDDR3 PCI-Express Dual DVI-I HDCP HDTV Out (Retail)

1 COOLMAX CTG-1000 GREEN POWER SLI CERTIFIED & RoHS COMPLIANT POWER SUPPLY FOR ATX CASES

1 THERMALTAKE ARMOR VA8003SWA (SILVER) FULL TOWER NO POWER SUPPLY W/ 25cm FAN ON SIDE PANEL FRONT I/O & 120mm CASE FAN x 2EXTRA 120mm FAN

4 MWAVE 1GB PC25300 667MHZ NON-ECC 240-PIN DDR2 DIMM W/ LIFETIME WARRANTY

1 INTEL CORE 2 QUAD Q6600 2.4 GHZ EM64T 1066MHZ RETAIL BOXED

1  ASUS P5N32-E SLI nVIDIA nFORCE 680I SLI CHIPSET ATX FORM FACTOR 2xPCI-E(X16), 1xPCI-E(X8), 1xPCI-E(X1), 2xPCI, 4xDDR2 W/SATA2 RAID,DUAL LAN(Gb),1394,USB 2.0 & AUDIO

2 WD 150GB WD1500ADFD SATA150 16MB 10,000RPM

1 LITE ON LH-20A1H-186C 20X LIGHTSCRIBE DUAL DVD REWRITABLE DRIVE

WAY overkill for the most part, but it'll be the last game PC that I buy.  Too little time to actually play much, so if I am going to play at all it's gonna be on a kick ass machine.
