I've been using an Eagle Industries bag for about a year now. I'm happy with it and it's a lot better than the generic Uncle Mikes bag i used before that.

| I've had great luck with the Maratac "mid range bag" from CountyComm. Its 45 bucks, but I paid 60 a few years ago when they came out. Its kinda neat in that its has a large deep center section with a zippered admin style pocket on one side and the the other side is all molle. The sides also have molle. The molle is kind of neat in that you can affix molle pouches to. I've run mine in the passenger seat with molle side facing out and the shoulder strap over the headrest. I added an admin pouch for pens and markers, some different size storage pouches that I keep things like my digital audio recorder, digital camera and compact binoculars in. A double magazine pouch holds a S&W rescue knife and a compact LED flashlight. Maratac makes good stuff. Also the XL bailout bag is really good too. |

I have the 5.11 wingman. It's kinda high but well worth it. Lots of storage Ditto on the Wingman. Expensive, but lots of well organized storage. I holds a lot of gear in an easily accessible manner. I picked mine up with 20% off for public safety (Emergency Management) off of 5.11's site, and have been using it for about a year and a half with no problems. |
