According to the brady campaign web site, amazon.com donates a percentage of profits to the anti-gun group. Looks like I won't be buying from there anymore... do you know of any other anti-gun supporters... |
same difference in my opinion |
+1 That would be EXCELLENT, as I spent probably $400 or so in the past year at amazon, and will do more this year. |
wonder if it is thru the affliate program.... non profits...and actually for profits....can have an amazon link on their website.... Everytime someone clicks thru that link, they get a portion of the procedes from the purachase.... (because my 501c3 participates in the amazon program) mrs |
Incorrect. If you buy from Amazon using the link from the Brady website 5% will go to the Brady Campaign. Lots of websites have the same deal. If you buy from the Amazon.com website, NOTHING goes to the Brady Campaign. |
Not really. If 5% of all Amazon sales went to Brady it would be a huge difference. Amazon is simply offering the Brady website a 5% finder fee. Only sales which come from the Brady website get 5% donations. The NRA could do exactly the same thing if they wanted. It wouldn't make Amazon pro gun. |
Indeed. I was about to do the same. That is not even remotely close to the same thing as the title says. |
| This would, indeed, be a great thing if the NRA or ar15.com, would have a link that would work in the same way. I've bought quite a bit from amazon in the last couple of months, and if a portion could go to this site, it would be great. If it hasn't been mentioned to the Avilas already, it should be in the appropriate section. |
Any pro-gun websites? can you donate to the NRA through amazon.com? |
