I will pray. I will pray hard that they stop coming to Idaho and go directly to Texas. Most of us do not even want them stopping for fuel. It's that bad.

Even more ironic are the Okies that escaped the dust bowl and went to California, only to relive the dust bowl.  crap luck

In all fairness Gov. Goodhair invited them and even went to NYC and gave them a invite too when he was in office.

LOL....What a fucking putz.

Warning to Texas: This is your Pete Wilson / 80's / Run by republicans moment. With every great economy, FSA stands waiting to invade. Enjoy while it lasts.  I wonder if the Feinstein equivalent women senator will at least be better looking.....

I realize you're probably being sarcastic but of course all available data shows Texas becoming more conservative even with all these people moving here.

Even Hispanics in Texas are oddly more conservative than Hispanics in any other state with 44% voting Republican in the last Gubernatorial election.

No liberal I knew in California would be caught dead in Texas.

But I knew plenty of Conservatives that were warm to the idea of moving there.

Take that for what it's worth, unless you believe that Texas is uniquely appealing to people on the left. I...kinda doubt that it is.

Let me try to help you out here by highlighting a key word.

Bonus points if you can figure out why he didn't run for reelection in '98.  (Pro tip: most of GD couldn't figure it out because it doesn't fit the "Texas going blue" narrative).

This thread is a good general summary of both the helpful numbers based things I post and the smart ass things I post about Texas turning blue.

It's funny how much hand wringing we see about Texas going blue when we legitimately have other states that need more urgent attention to stay red or swing back red.

Oh well, it's not like GD would be able to fix anything even if they were paying attention to the right states.
