From what i have seen, yes to your edited for clarity question. Seems most of the changes were in the frame and recoil spring. I am not a expert, so i could be wrong, so see if you can find a local shop to compare, or call glock.

From what I have seen, the dovetail has remained the same. All of the Gen4 Glocks I have dealt with have taken the same aftermarket sites as the Gen3s. Unless they have changed things even further within the past year, you shouldn't have any issues.
