well I managed to really screw this up I tried 4 different tools to remove the factory bezel used 4 different tools trying to pry it off finally got it with my KERSHAW ordered a new bezel from ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/373373024837?var=642394746574 it would not snap on I think it’s inside diameter is too big used a watch press to put the factory bezel back on and it’s SUPER TIGHT SUPER TIGHT …like after 20mins of trying to loosen if up, i’ve muscled it 40mins now I can’t get it off again to see what the trouble is Attached File |

If I were to guess, you damaged the case taking the original bezel off. I just did this an hour ago. I rolled my own SKX007 Tudor Black Bay homage (with case and main components from Crystaltimes and dial and hands from WR Accessories) that is my favorite watch. But when I purchased the coin edge bezel from crystaltimes, I accidentally ordered a bi-directional click spring. They would have taken it back but they've been really good to me and I screwed up so I just ordered another click spring. Bear in mind, there was no need to change this. My watch was functioning perfectly. But, in my mind, I messed up and needed to fix it. I have a bezel removal tool that screws four round blades together to easily remove bezels. It works fantastically but you have to pay attention. I did not pay attention and it was taking too much force. I backed up and re-aligned it and it popped off as easily as it should. I replaced the click spring and reinstalled the bezel and it would not turn. I popped it off again to discover that, on my first attempt, I had misaligned the blades and bent the edge of the case bezel ring. Fortunately, I was able to grind the edge back with a mini rotary tool and the bezel now works fine and nobody would know but me. Knowing me, I'll probably replace the case eventually because it will always piss me off knowing what I did. I love playing with my watches but sometimes I fix them and sometimes I fix them 'till they're broke. |
