I tried search and google, cant find it. It used to be a small joke around here but its a real gun.

As I recall, the NRA had an article about it about 2 years ago, it wasn't accurate, and had a very limited range, and ammo was VERY expensive, even by todays standards.
It was in 12mm as I recall, and I want to say there was rumors of banning it because it was "Too big" for a handgun.

In general, the power and accuracy were low, and the design was too complicated. The webpage I linked to above says it had “decent” accuracy, but every other source I have found says that its accuracy was significantly worse than normal pistols.

One of McUzi's troll accounts might show up here. Didn't he claim to have one of the rounds/rockets/whatever at some poit?

Gyrojets were 60's era fad. I don't think it ever went farther than some working prototypes. I believe they were in one of the James Bond movies.

Interesting idea in theory, no recoil.
