I didn't want to clutter up the "In the Line of Duty Thread" so I figured I start another post. What in the world happened to those NOPD officers?

Some details are on the links. I don't come here often, and noticed that none of them had been mentioned. Alva was shot in 1985, and while he initially seemed to recover, he went into a coma a couple months after the shooting, and stayed in it until he died. George was getting ready to escort a truck full of munitions to Belle Chasse NAS when a truck driver who had fallen asleep struck him while he was standing outside his car giving directions to the munitions truck driver. Latoya was shot and knocked down by a mental case whose family called her and her partner to take to Charity Hospital for evaluation. Once down, he stood over her and put 7 more rounds of .50AE into her as she lay on a kitchen floor.
