i got one as a traing tool for my dog. I kept the shock low because hes just a puppy but he wasnt reacting to it. slowly turned it up more and more and yet no reaction, i think his ears perked up once. so i take it off of him and hold it and press the button, HOLY SHIT dropped the damn thing like it was on fire, cant imagin it on my neck. dogs must not feel pain.

Be careful with those. You need to let the dog wear it a couple of weeks before you start shocking him with it, otherwise he will learn that he can misbehave when not wearing it.

you don't have the collar tight enough to make contact between the probes and the dogs neck...

Now go try it on the wife. 1 zing for a beer 2 for personal service.....

Did the collar come with longer probes? They might not be contacting him thru his fur.

Be careful with the thing you can ruin your dog if you don't use it right. They are a great training tool but if used incorrectly they can do more harm than good.

funny you mention that

lowest setting my gf's bare ass this morning.

i was very sorry, and i know i woudlnt like it if someone did that to me while i was sleeping

we have one that goes off when he barks. It's wonderful. When we put it on him he doesn't even want to go outside.

I wouldn't leave that on him 24/7. I've heard stories of them malfunctioning when the owner isn't home and the dog is shocked repeatedly for a long time.

i can give him a warning the thing just vibrates, that seems to have more of a reaction than the shock itself. He stops and looks around with a WTF? look on his face

And dont put it on your neck and turn it up

it isnt the best feeling
