Well your going to need to get the starter kit $48 to $60 this will give (3) and then your looking at 48 different charters that cost from $9 to $17.  Have fun the kids love them.

I play it with my 4 soon to be 5 yo in 9 days son. It's fun and the puzzles are challenging at that age, but that's when he goes to dad for help. No blood, and instead of dying, they get tired and need to "rest" lol.

Be prepared to spend a metric buttload of money on all of the different characters. My kids love the game and have virtually every character.

Dad is a sucker for his boys.

We have the first game and all the characters that go with it. Expensive, but killed quite a few hours with it, and have all the characters maxed out. Then we saw Giants and decided to stay away. We'd spent enough money on it already.
