what is the best spyware killer out there? my niece got on my computer today and i am getting pop ups and crap even when i'm not online. i've seen some free downloadable ones posted here before, but can't remember what they were called. thanks

Spybot Search & Destroy (google search should turn it up pretty quick) does a good job and is free.

Ditto on Spybot Search & Destroy.

One cautionary note, be sure to down load it from www.cnet.com or www.zdnet.com or another reputable site.

One company out there is tricking people into thinking their software is Spybot when it really is another spyware installer.
