I have good luck with Ad-Aware. If you have a really pesky spyware or adware, try running Ad-Aware in safe mode.

I'd go with Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D. It seems what one doesn't catch, the other will.

also we have an " urban commandos " section here on arfcom... check it out.. it could use the traffic

they are very helpful
