first, these are excellent lights for the money..I started with a small one and added a C cell size
but...
anyone else have an issue with battery life..

the small one that uses c123 batteries and just burns them up
the C cell has had the same batteries for 3 months now and though I grab it less than the smaller one..it just seems the small one burns thru them quickly..
Maybe a bad bulb??
anyone else notice this?

I own three of them.  The "C", "D" and the  "AA" size with Luxeon LED.  All last forever.  Heck, the "C" has had the same batteries since February.

I really was not interested in the C123 lights, I already have the LED conversion for the Surefire 6P, it does the same thing.

I keep the 3C version in the truck for general emergency use and when we go camping. The batteries with 3 LEDs on last for a crazy long time.

But yeah - when you use the Xenon bulb, you will burn some juice. Expect about a 40 minute run time.

They've come out with a new one,  white and UV LED's.

Its a great little flashlight... but those xenon's suck the juice quick out of the 123!
