Say your kid gets screwed over by their friends(fuckin aresholes), to include non payment for merchandise for a shared domicile and the dicks retaining a portion of the security deposit. I, me and the kid, painted the room my kid used in the appartment. I have pics of how poorly the other areas were painted and repaired. What might be some retribution y'all would visit on the offenders? |

The person who has a name on the contract may or may not have legal standing to use to get some of the monetary damage dealt with. If your daughter is no where on the contract, walk away. Anything traced back can lead to all kinds of bs. If your daughter is on the contract all by herself, she needs to learn the subletting or other laws and rules and figure out how to go after the money that is hers. If you signed or co-signed, then you can learn this stuff as well. If it was a handshake deal, she learned who her friends are and she hopefully learned a lesson early in life that did not break her piggy bank too badly. We have a thread on someone loaning their car out to a relative and vehicle is involved in an accident. Not only is the accident an issue, now their insurance wants more money every month. Walk away from this. Research hayduke books, does he have a website these days? The hayduke stuff is awesome comedy to relieve your anger at others. Anything done will be blamed on you and yours.
