well i got my bf exploding targets for his birthday which is about to come up in august. i was going to try to keep it a secret from him but i thought about it and he will need to find a place to actually set them off, so i went ahead and told him what i was getting. we were at a resturant when i told him and i have never seen him that hyper before, but i actually thought he was going to knock over the table and jump me right in the resturant. luckily he didn't do that i really wasn't up for spending my evening in jail for the night. so what do you guys think was that a good birthday gift or could i have done better? |

Where yall at in GA? I got me a case and have popped a few in the mountains of NEGA. I tried a single and was pretty excited. IT was loud, but not so loud I wouldn't have shot another A tip- take a ziploc to pour the stuff in and mix it, and then funnel it back in the bottle. Next one I shot I mixed two and put it in a 20 oz Sprite bottle. WHHAAAAMMMMM! I shot it with my suppressed 5.56, so it made it better to not have the rifle crack first. It was VERY loud. I got my son in the truck and got out of there before the army came.  It echoed of the mountains so big I got the jitters. I can't imagine these guys shooting 5 and 7 at one time. |
The "record" for the Mid MO group was 35 bottles mixed together. I shot it with a .50 BMG (100 yards  )and it was LOUD--and left a crater about 2' deep and 4' wide. It quickly brought the Park Rangers, following a complaint from a campground a half mile away, regarding an "explosion." We will NOT do anything so foolish again--we no longer shoot anything that could possibly produce shrapnel, nor more than two bottles of tannerite at a time. I really fear someone will get hurt with the stuff sooner or later. Please be careful.

| We are in Albany. My Uncle lives on a plantation out here, so we will likly go out and shoot them in one of the fields on a weekend. The odds of anybody coming out there are pretty slim as thereis automatic weapons fire almost nightly. Seems to make the neighbors stay away. |

I bought mine in anticipation of it getting banned at some point. I think I'll pick up a couple more cases so I got some when it does. You're right someone will get hurt becuase people in general as stupid. 35- I'd like to have seen the looks on the faces there. Bet some eyes were big. |
Um, I was prone so didn't feel it, but most commented with a serious "OH SHIT!" look/expression that they were nearly knocked off their feet and we looked at the vehicles (behind us about 50 yards) to see if any glass was broken--none were. I'll have to cop to the "stupid" you mentioned. BUT I AM CAPABLE OF LEARNING!! (won't do that EVER again)
