My brother who is a CPA has decided he won't do my taxes anymore. Apparently he says that if he does and I pay him, he has to claim that as income.  Even if I take him out to eat I guess he averages out the cost of the meal and claims that.
He says that now he won't do it anymore because he can lose his license. He does not sign them. If he told me he didn't have the time I would understand, but he just up and did this to our and mom and I. My best guess is that in his ultra christian ways, he won't lie and not claim it for fear of going to hell.

His license, his choice on who he can work for. In before the Christian bashing starts. So when he gave us his word that he would always do our taxes, and then backtracked on it..what does that say? I have a truck and he always has me run to the lumber yard for him all summer long. That will come to an end unless he's willing to pay me now. |
