Do you really need to know the weather often enough to have it on your systray?  Not at all trying to be a dick about it, just asking?  I find that going to weather.com from a saved favorite in my browser with it set to remember my zip code is enough for me.

they are nice to have in case there is some type of server weather is coming, i don't watch regular TV much everything i watch is recorded on dvr. Weather bug will make a chirpping noise when there is a weather alert.

Plus the kids can just click on it when they want to see the forecast for the day.
