had a PF9 a few years ago. Great size but shitty trigger, traded it off toward a S&W Model 28 Highway Patrolman

Anyway I'd like another small carry 9, the Ruger LC9s and new Glock 43 doesn't look bad at all. I'll pass on the Whiles though since I can't stand the M&P trigger

My KelTec PF9 has been 100% for me.  Good bang for the buck. YMMV.

If I needed to fill the gap now I'd get a shield, if you've got time glock 43.

I switched from a PF9 to LC9s Pro.

Excellent trigger. Couldn't be happier.

It is a nice little gun.  SIG does a threaded barrel for them too.

Just to help you with a size comparison...

ETA:  The Kahr and LC9 have grip bands on them.

XD Sub (.40)   PM9
Shield (.40)   LC9

XD - Shield - PM9 - LC9

LC9 - PM9 - Shield - XD

I like the Shield and the Kahr the best.

Get the LC9s PRO it does away with the BS lawyer mandated 'safety' crap.

On a side by side comparison with the 42 (and I liked the 42s trigger better than my G19s) I found the LC9sPro to be the better shooter and trigger.

My P938 has been awesome. For pocket single stacks check out the P938, G43, LC9s, Shield, or PM9. I don't think you could go wrong with any of them.

I got the Sports-13 model that came with hogue grip, 6 and 7 rd mag, crappy OWB holster, and really nice sig night sights on the rear and a TFO sight on the front. It was as accurate at 25yards as my PF9 was at 7 lol.

I plan to get one of those.  But I expect 6 to 9 months before I will be able to find one in stock.

To recommend something few, if any, of us have even shot yet?

Glock did a great job with the 42, and sure seemed take their sweet ol' time on the 43 - a positive sign, but still, it's a non-proven quantity.

I have a PPS and a Shield.  I like the Shield but I installed Apex trigger parts.  The stock trigger was crap.

The PPS is a great gun but I don't like the size of the magazine baseplates.

I like the rail on the PPS.  I wish the Shield had a rail.

You may want to wait on the G43 in case it has any teething problems.
