Bahhh..AJohnston's collection wont be TRULY impressive until he has a Vickers  My all time high of 5 1911s is down to one right now, but that is changing this year. Im dumping just about everything that isnt 1911 or Browning. My 4 year old beat up Wilson Service Grade Protector:  Nice guns guys. |

No Shit, have a line on another. Seller named the price, I offered $400 not knowing what it was. He said $300, and I paid. I found a book that I had packed away on Colt Pistols and had a RUDE awakening. I told him, he said "so". Two tone magazine and all for $300. Honest... Danny |
Here are my current two. I had a Kimber TLE/RL and a TLE. Found a deal I couldnt pass up and due to $$ restraints, I traded the TLE on it. Its a new Kimber BP Ten II. So, now I have the TLE/RL and the BP Ten II. Have about 3 other Kimbers on my must have list. Plan to take care of them beginning next year. Right now, these two cover everything from house gun, carry gun, to SHTF gun.

... You fellers got some nice 1911's, but I have to ask; have hi-caps fallen out of grace recently or what? ... My 'ole worn P14-45 and P10-45 were the only hi-caps I saw here on this thread. For me, there's nothing like 1/2 the reloads of your competitor. ... Once I went to the "wide body" stagger magazine, a single stack just didn't feel right in my big hands any longer. ... Anyone else out there a stagger mag 1911 fan? |

My P1445 has only had a couple of hiccups on the first mag I ever ran through it, and not one jam since in well over 1,000 rounds. I'm thinking about buying another one - maybe a "Signature" model, since I have a good supply of mags.  |
