Do you have any idea what holster this is? Or what OWB holster is issued along with a Glock?

Don't know the make or if even factory.  A lot of guys are making their own over here as we have the materials (kydex) and equipment.

It's hard to tell but it looks like it might be home-made based on the shape.

Ive met a former MARSOC Marine who said they used glock 17s durring their cqb course but switched to 19s after. He seemed pretty knowledgeable so I see no reason to doubt him.

Except he was saying how much he hated the m9 because of how many locking blocks he broke

Im going to be working with him so let me know if there's any questions you guys wabt answered. He's been out since 2012 so some stuff might be out of date. Ive been out since 05 and everythings out of date since then

It depends on the organization and purpose.  I see mostly Safariland ALS holsters in dark earth for Glock 17/22 or Glock 19/23 with the surefire 300 light.  It generally comes with the 6075 low ride belt loop adapter.

Note, don't buy the CDNN +2 extensions 9/40.  They will jam up the mag.

You might want to clarify what you mean.  CDNN sells a $2 "Euro" +2 extension that is crap.

https://www.cdnnsports.com/plus-2-glock-9mm-40s-w-357sig-european-bottom.html

They also sell the factory Glock extensions from time to time that are more expensive.  The factory Glock extensions are fine.  I've purchased the factory extensions from them before.

What's that soldier's story?

I find it hard to believe that Uncle Sam would ship him back out in the shape that he's in.

There have been quite a few single amputees and a few double amputees who got back in the actual fight.

Almost everything about that guys set up is kind of interesting.   Front sight orientation, old school stock, what were those called?  It's on the tip of my tongue but i can't remember the name now.  They used to be in the bushmaster catalog.  His laser thingy is so far back, the rail, that vfg I'm not familiar with.  Just very interesting.  ACE.  An ACE stock.  I think it was called.  Looks like his matech has lettering on the side too.

Delta/CAG had a batch made up for them special, Glock accommodates, and the CAG Fanboys go nuts and spend way more then they are worth to obtain them.

25 years from now, they will still be a FDE G22 mag with a +2 extension on it. Always amazes me the value folks will put on things.

IIRC i read somewhere that they wanted a different color so it was easy to tell the .40 mags from the 9mm

I bet I have been there before, Anbar? Wow you even have access to ARFCOM there even years after we pulled out. I figured the locals would have ripped all the wiring out by now and sold it for cash. Nice Glocks by the way. Looks like you use factory glock replacement threaded barrels

Man I remember in '04 when I took responsibility of 2 pallets of brand new Glock 19's that we were about to issue to the Iraqi Police. Needless to say every 1SG and above were carrying a Glock instead of their M9
