I google searched and searched here, found one in the archives.
maybe we could start another? (unless I missed a current one somewhere?)

If yes, show us your HD/go to pistol (even if it is a backup to a long gun for primary HD, as mine is)
Kimber Custom with surefire 6px. soon to be replaced by g17 once I get a tlr-1

I have two different ones.  The one downstairs is a HK USPc .40 loaded with Federal 180 grain HST and a Streamlight TLR-4 for lighting.

The one upstairs in my nightstand is a backup to my primary weapon and was chosen as I found a good holster that will hold it with the light attached.  I prefer my .45 over it but have not found a holster that will hold it and a light to my liking as of yet.  I did get in a set of Crimson Trace grips to add to it so I can have both a light and laser.  Loaded with the same Federal HST ammo.  Have a spare magazine and light next to both.

Truthfully, my 870 is propped on the wall next to the bed (and would probably be the first thing I grab if we were experiencing sudden city-wide civil unrest right outside my window), but the handgun for things that go bump in the night would have to be the S&W M&P9 with 124 grn +P Gold Dots and one reload. Apex kit & trigger and a Surefire X-300 give me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

Thank you Frank-
The work was done at Accurate Armory in Lexington KY by Keith Pitts.  I asked him to engrave '35' on the right side of the slide, and also remove "Austria" on the left with what he refers to as a Signature Cut.  I also wanted the LWD stainless barrel cerakoted black and the slide done in Cerakote Sniper Grey.  The bottom of the front of the slide was also beveled and forward serrations cut on both sides of the slide.

I left the pistol grip stock as to not change any reliability characteristics.  The gun was made in 2000 even though the GLOCK serial number project shows G22 guns being made with the prefix on mine.  Same frame, but different trigger weights, mag releases, and slide releases.

It was originally part of about 6 agency trade-in guns we got at work and I picked up the G35 back before Christmas for $389

A handful of additional pics:
