Post some pics in the Polymer80. So easy a caveman could do it... thread. Lots of help in that thread. This one's for pics.

Stayed up late last night and got my lower put together. All excited, threw my 17 slide on there and poop, trigger won’t fire. Has a little take up then nothing. In turn, slide won’t come off. Got the slide off and can’t figure it out for the life of me. This is the first one I’ve done and first time I’ve ever messed with glock internals but still baffled. Ughhh View Quote Picture of trigger spring installed in rear block and trigger. How do you like that subcompact frame compared to the 26?

Anyone use a tungsten finished slide? I have a gray p80 built and found an RMR cut slide on eBay for $199.

Attached File
Attached File I do have to replace the RRM once the new one arrives from P80, as the one in it causes the slide to catch. There are zero OEM parts in it. |

Was watching a video about the P80. Rear frame lugs are just milled into the plastic?
Doesn't seem like it would be strong enough. |

pic thread. The 1.5 has metal rear rails. the 2.0 fulfilled my desire for a fancy useless range blaster https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/193427/glock80-509125.JPG View Quote Has anyone tried a 6 Second Mount? |

I did my first polymer 80% frame last week...no issues...I'll be building more as I like the grip angle and the DIY aspect.
Which trigger that isn't over $150? I've never used an aftermarket trigger, so I'd be curious which one to go with that is below $150. |
|
The one from ploymer 80 themselves is very nice in the one I tried.

Is the front strap angle different then a stock Glock? Or just the fact that it has no hump?

Did you have to mod anything to fit?
|

Quoted: Did you have to mod anything to fit? View Quote Had to mod trigger guard area, beaver tail area, extended takedown pin area, and the slide was dragging on the metal nose cup. I would think getting a 17/22 model for the 19 could help make sure the slide clears the metal tip of the micro roni. It seems that the slide sits slightly higher with the Polymer80 frame than a standard glock frame. |

Anyone have issues with any of the pins walking around. I notice my trigger assembly in the grip tends to wander during a range trip. If I do another frame I might try a hair smaller drill bit

Well dammit why you gotta get all technical on the pins
I'll have to check again. I believe I am using the P80 pin because the factory glock pin seemed way too short |

This thread is much better for trouble shooting.

Check trigger bar binding/rubbing on right side of frame. I had that happen too. Fix with light sanding using an emery board.

Got it done and assembled, grey frame, Brownells slide with window, BCA threaded barrel, standard Glock internals with a - connnector, Trijicon dual illum. Going to go to Dawson Precision for sights this next week, going with the lowest height ones I can that will still be visible through the dot. I tried a set of suppressor sights and they were way to tall. Attached File

What are the magwell options for the 17v2 frame?
I've seen the Cain Arms option and I'm not crazy about it. Geissele says the ALG won't fit. The P80 option is $100 for not much magwell. What other options are available? Also, has anyone tried the P80 frame with a Kineti-Tech trigger? I'm thinking of picking one up. |

that is the slide that was in the equipment exchange for a while wasnt it?

Just finished my first attempt. Functions fine, now I just need to find a time to go shoot it.
OD Brownell's compact frame Glock stock trigger and small parts 80P Builder slide and barrel TruGlo Tritium Pro sights Attached File I decided I didn't like the look of the hook on the trigger guard, so I reshaped with a file and sanded to clean it up. Looks much better. Attached File Nothing fancy about it, but I wanted to knock one out before I went crazy. I ordered a Robin Egg frame for my girlfriend, and another compact in cobalt and a gray full size for future considerations. A voice in my head is whispering something about a 34. |
