I know Glock makes a 20 that is 10MM, but I am thinking aabout something more along the lines of a 1911 platform.

Who makes an affordable, yet classy 10MM with a track record of durability?

Thanks in advance gentlemen

Affordable, durable, 10mm, 1911.

I don't think those four go together.  Maybe if you take one of them out, you'd be alright.

Colt Delta Elite
Dan Wesson Razorback (or whatever they renamed it to)
S&W 1006 / 1086 / 1076

EAA also imports the 10mm Tanfoglio, but I know gmtmaster will be here before long to tell you what a piece of shit it is, so I'm not going to get into it.

OK - I'll drop 1911 then . . . that means a Glock huh?

Somebody call me??   Seriously, my Witness was a pile... The one I have now is ok because I.... ... DO NOT shoot nuclear ammo in the thing, run a 20lb recoil spring at most...I  DO run a recoil buffer.

YMMV

Not what i would call "affordable" but its probably worth the money:  Kimber's Eclipse Custom II

Aside from Glock? No one else meets your criteria. Dan Wesson makes a 10mm but it's $1,000~. EAA makes a 10mm but it's durability & quality are iffy. (I owned one once.)

S&W made a couple of 10mm single stack models that can be found on Gun Broker fairly reasonable. They do meet your criteria, but they too are single stack only.

I was in the same boat when I shopped for my 10mm. I ended up with a Glock 20SF, added a Hi-Viz front sight & a 3-1/2lb sear. I may well add a Glock 29SF down the road as well.

Besides price, the Glock is hands down the most durable of the 10mms as it was designed for it.  Yep, the large frame Glock was first released as a 10mm and then redesigned for the 45acp.

This is what I would go with if I felt the need for a 10mm. 3rd generation Smiths are underrated.

Kimber's in .45ACP, the round the original design was designed for are hit and miss to the point I will never own another Kimber product. Then you throw 10mm in the mix. Its got the makings of a perfect jammomatic.
