Greetings all, What's currently available in terms of handgun (pistol or revolver) options for the 10mm? Cheers, Sakic #19 |
ALPHAGHOST, Should have searched...my bad Thanks for the links!Sakic #19 |
no worries |
I would love to have one in the 1911 platform - but, I wasn't sure what other options were out there...w/the exception of the Glock 20. Thinking about call Wilson Combat to inquire about a 5" CQB in 10mm (already own a CQB in 45 ACP and love it)...I had no idea they offered the 10mm - this is great news. Also, a local dealer has a used Colt Delta Elite, unfortunatly, the barrel lock-up (or lack of) is horrible - gun looks nice though. |
cool Springer's custom shop also made em i hear; as to productions ones: old Colt Deltas, Dan Wessons seem to be the more popular ones Fusion Firarms (1911 semi-custom) also has em...great reviews on this company hope that helps |
There may be spme bad stuff out there but I have only heard good things. Edit: Last year I saw some NIB on Gun Broker and Guns America. You might give that a try also. |

I picked a 1006 up about a month ago... about 550 rounds and looks great. Paid $675 to a local seller. I've seen them for less and more than that, depending on condition and model (there are full size and compacts in the traditional safety, SIG decocker, and DAO). Of course, if it is an FBI gun, it will be a little higher than a commercial version. Only drawback is magazines. They are like gold! I got three with the gun, picked up another three from another forum, and just purchased four from here. The seven I picked up separately cost me $165! I picked up eight Beretta 92 magazines for a little over $100 (PB marked). I have/will be rebuilding the ones I bought with new white followers and Wolff springs. Definitely drop by www.10mmtalk.com/ |
| I used to own a S&W 1006. It shot very well and never had a hangup. Selling that gun was probably one of the worse things I have done when it comes to owning a very good ,reliable gun. They are very very hard to find on any shelf around here in the Omaha area. I just picked up a used S&W 645 for $500 a few weeks ago and that took me almost ten years to replace that one. |
Thanks for the links!
