Would anyone be buying a 10mm USPF if one were available?
I just bought a Glock 20 for its 10mm hi-cap design, but I bemoaned the fact that H&K doesn't offer their option............ |

I love their REAL firearms, but most of the ones they choose to or allowed to sell on the civilian market in the US are pathetic shadows of real HK guns. Well, my HK pistols seem pretty real to me. WTF are you on about? The caliber? 10mm, blow-em-right-outta-their-sneakers/tag'em-bag'em REAL cartridge? Right...

An HK USP in 10mm would be a nice addition to their product line. I just wish they would offer a 357 sig barrel to interchange with the 40 S&W USP frame, instead of having to buy the complete pistol...
rjw The .357 sig round wasn't reliable enough for them to put it into production for the full size USP. However, it is in the USP compact and you can just swap a 40 cal barrel with a .357 sig barrel. |
| I'd like to see one from the Factory. If you don't want to do any refinishing a stainless USP .40 is not that hard to convert. A new barrel by Jarvis works better than a re-chambered HK barrel and since there is no finish on the slide, after opening up the slide ejection port you don't need to refinish nor is there possible hardening issues. Then all you need is to get some steel PO P14 .45 mags, rework them and you are done. MSLB (or MLSB) on HKPRO has done this conversion with the HE gun with good success and while it has been questioned about no re-hardening the slide after opening the ejection port, he has not had any trouble with the HE guns he has converted. |

rjw HK tried a USP in .357 SIG and could not get it to run in the full size. |

Back the truck up, tough guy. Are you special because you have a USP? Is the USP special? ] Sigh. No, I'm not special. Read your post again, genius. You said "real HKs from Obendorf(sp?)" I have eight HK pistols (one USP and two USP Compacts in that lot); all were made in Germany. I just assumed you were one of those caliber clowns. Then again, maybe you are. Whatever. . |
