Seeking a Tap-In Hammer Strut pin rather than the free floaters I'm finding for 1911's.
I have been told to center punch the pin ends and have tried but the Rockwell must fairly high.
Any source for the tap-In style would be appreciated.
Good Shooting.

You might try EGW. Just got one of there strut, hammer and pin kit and it had a nice tight fit

stake the hammer or don't, the pin is captive when assembled.

I've got a free float and have no issues. The tangs hold it in. Now diassembly to clean, watch the pin.
