I have gotten a few caliber conversions and am just to the point that rather than swap them, I would just prefer to have dedicated guns. Is it possible to by lower halves only? FYI I have only Kimbers now. That is not required, but I do want quality lowers that are complete. Any idea who sells them and where I can find them? Thanks Mark |

I just picked up an Essex frame for my Marvel conversion. I'm hoping to build it out mostly with spare parts I have laying around from upgrading other guns. Retail price on the frame was $197 from Brownells. If you get the trade discount the price is about 25% less on that particular item. I ordered it and had it shipped to a friendly neighborhood FFL, who handled the transfer for a nominal fee. |
