[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 250/320 compatibility

Does anyone know if a 250 slide would work on a 320 frame? I have a friend who would like to know. I told him I didn't think it would but to be sure I defer to someone here who may have knowledge and/or experience with both pistols.

I'm going to say no. A p320 is striker fired and striker and associated parts are in the slide, a P250 is fired by a frame mounted hammer.

The grips frames and mags are interchangeable according to my brother. He owns both.

The frames are the same. http://store.sigsauer.com/parts/grips.html?p=4 You'd have to switch the numbered fire control units, which aren't interchangeable, along with the slide.

As mentioned, the grip modules and mags (with appropriate floor plate) are interchangeable. Slides and fire control are not.
