| bought a 250 a couple months ago. First couple hundred rounds (which were reloads but they are the same relaods i have been firing for the last 20 years without a problem in other 9mm's i own) had light strikes every second or third shot. I was rather disapointed. I then shot about 500-600 rounds of remiington 100 round value pack walmart special stuff through it without a single malfunction. Next i went back to my reloads. the first magazine fired with 2 light strikes. After that i proceded to shoot approx. 300-400 shots with zero failures and havent had one since. I am thinking this was a "break-in" thing. As far as FTE go, i havent experienced any what so ever. I am going to to try some S&B and WWB after i have a few more range trips through it. My only advice (might be good or not) is just try different ammo and keep shooting it. I have read on many forums that a lot of the issues with these 250's have worked themselves out after quite a few rounds through them. |
