Hi I have a early 2 pin 17.  I also have a 3 pin 23.  The trigger pin on the 17 will not come out. The 23 comes a part no problem.  I have whacked it prety good with the punch and plastic mallet. any Ideas? Thanks

Wiggle the slide stop lever.

+1 - while at the same time applying steady pressure to the pin using the takedown tool / or punch.

Yes this, and do NOT be "whacking" it with hammer or mallet.

Yep just got a 2 pin G17 and you have to wiggle the slide stop a little more to get the pin out.   Definately DO NOT be wacking it with anything.  Make sure you check the slide stop when you get it apart.

Thank you guys.  I got it apart. I used to work part time at a Gun store.  The Guy I worked with went to Glock Armor school.  He used to whack them all the time.  Guess he was a hack. I gave it one hit with the Glock take down tool and a smal plastic hammer.  Nothings bent or messed up.  I won't do that again. Thanks again everyone.

Even Glock armorers can be stupid.  I was trained in the Army to be an Armorer and no one else works on my weapons, no one!
