I just bought a 329PD in 44 mag. The recoil is not as bad as I had heard it was gonna be, but you can definetly tell your shooting a large caliber in a very light weight gun. My question now is what kind of springs to put in it. The factory trigger is horrible. Single action isn't too bad, but double action is 13-15lbs. I saw in Brownells that they carry ones that Jerry Miculek uses. Since he knows a little about Smiths, I'd have to guess they are good springs. Will this be enough, or should I send it to a gunsmith for an acton job? If so, any suggestions? I got spoiled on my 625 since its had a lot of work and the trigger is vey nice. I'd post pictures, but don't have a good camera, and dont know how to even if I did. |
