Does anyone use the Glock 34 or Glock35 on patrol? I have only seen one person carry one.

I would love to but policy forbids it.

I carry a G22 right now. I have been thinking about getting a 21, 34, or 35. Maybe 2 of the 3. Most of the deputies carry the 22 so if I carried the 35 and shit hit the fan, the mags would work. Do you guys have any pictures of your 35s on duty rigs? Like to see how it looks.

What are you looking to gain from the 35 over the 22?

Better balance, longer site radius, better 'as delivered' trigger, extended slide stop lock, extended mag release, adjustable rear sight, slightly higher velocities, and less muzzle flash just to name a few.

As Glock says, "GLOCK
                               35
Tactical / Practical - With its extended barrel and extended line of sight, the GLOCK 35 allows accurate hit patterns even with rapid firing. This has resulted in widespread distribution of the GLOCK 35 among the practical shooting community"

I'm SWAT... so I am issued the G35 for daily carry.  I like it better than the G22, for me the G35 points better due to the slightly longer barrel.

Not trying to gain anything really. More or less just something different. Maybe it is because I can, or it is a reason to buy another Glock.

Not LE, but my new go to gun is a 35. The pros far out way the cons(only con would be longer legnth)

I got it for USPSA shooting but soon realized it works great a a CCW also.

Looking to get a 34 also.

My department when to the G35 in 2005 replacening our G22.  Overall scores went up slightly.  I liked the balance and pointability.  Officers bought their own pistols on a uniform account.  Most carried G22 as did I but I had a G35 and started carrying it.  When the department went to issue duty weapons they picked the G35.    I have carried the G23, G22 and G35 on duty.  I have to say that the G23 and G35 are my favorite ones.   G23 for special units or off duty and G35 for patrol.  For a duty weapon Im sure the extra fps does not hurt with the longer barrel.  I find them to be very accurate and fast on follow up shots.

When I carried a 35 on patrol...the LEO purchase came with a standard 5.5 trigger.  Overall it was better than my 22 due to the fact that it pointed better for me...I did notice the extra length sitting in the car though.  It was a great pistol, before we transitioned to the 1911.

I have a G34 I got back in 1999. It was my go to Y2K sidearm

It has made it's way back around to being my 24/7 EDC gun. It just seems to fit ME better than anything else.

I Had a G22 but got rid of it long ago, always wanted a longer slide.
Now with the 35 is the slide and barrel interchangeable with a 9mm set up?
