P226 Elite ST 4.4" barrel w/QPQ treatment
Gold Dot 125gr Product # 54234 (TX DPS loading), lot #D11Q34 Oehler 33 at 15' 10 shots AV:1355 ES:44 SD:12 *MV corrected to 1379 AV 79*F 45%Humidity 210' Above SL 10-shot string raw data (15' from muzzle): 1––––-1366 2––––-1346 3––––-Error 4––––-1376 5––––-1361 6––––-1351 7––––-1332 8––––-1357 9––––-1347 10––––1355 11––––1367 This load/lot# produced a best 5-shot group at 25 yards from my pistol fired by Roy of GGI off a sand-bag rest of 1.17" CTC. It produced several groups in the 1.5" area. |

If I was going to use a Gold Dot in .357Sig I'd get the Buffalo Bore 125gr'er. I believe it's NOT the XXX18 bullet, but they push it to 1430fps out of a real gun (not a test barrel). I might try some. Right now I am between college and a job, and so my funding is nil right now. Give me another month or so and I should begin to once again do cool stuff |
