I shoot mostly Federal American Eagle.  If you buy it in bulk (1000 roounds) it comes out to $10.90 a box shipped from Ammo Man.

I've shot about 1500 rounds of it so far w/o any problems.

For my carry gun (a G32) I use CCI Gold Dot 125gr....clocks at 1375-1410 very consistently. I'm happy!

I get the Federal American Eagle (red box) in bulk from Ammoman for practice.  It seems to feed well in my P239, but you can't be shy when chambering the first round.  Let that slide fly, otherwise it might jam into the feed ramp.

I haven't had any feed problems while shooting, though sometimes I can feel the round catch before it chambers (recoils then an obvious pause in the middle of the forward travel).  I believe this is more a function of a slack grip on my part than feed problems.

My 239 seems to like the Speer Gold Dot 125gr GDHP for carry.  Less flash than the CorBon, too.  I didn't realize how much flash the CorBon ammo had until tonight.  Very obvious.  Probably gave some of the observers a good show at the range.
