I am seriously considering purchasing a 37-2 with a factory bobbed hammer for pocket carry(no ILS  ). I have a few questions though. What would be a fair price for one NIB? and are their any negatives to this particular model?

I carry a DAO 37-2 as a BUG on and off-duty. I'm very happy with it. The only real negative is that it is pretty snappy with +P ammo, which makes shooting 100 rounds for qualification a little less than fun. Its not awful by any means though.
As far as a fair price goes, I paid $325 NIB for the one I carry, but that was in 2005. Right now, given prices I've seen, $425-$475 NIB, depending on where you are located. I pocket carry mine all the time and its wonder for that role. |
