Hi all just wanted some feedback on the 4013 TSW, a friend of a friend is selling one w/night sites and 5 11rd mags. Then gun is in real nice shape , don't know much about S&W autos. BTW he wants $400.00 for it, good price??? Thanks

You did okay. You got neither a steal nor did you get ripped & sometimes this is fair to both parties, IMO.
The TSW series are made a bit better than the "normal" line of S&W semi's, IMO. Perhaps not quite custom shop level, but better than the average monkey building the every day models. Obviously a gun's accuracy is only as good as the ammo fired from it. Oh, yes, the Gunny is looking for ya:

Is that a Double Action only? Or DA/SA? Did Smith make a version of this gun with a picatinny rail? I have a standard 4006 and love it but would love it even more with a pic rail. BTW: If you want even more extra magazines for your gun, Bud's Gun Shop has 5 4006 mags for $30 right now! BTW2: If your night sights are dim, Trijicon will replace them for you for $55 shipped! Just send them your slide and they will replace the sights (not just the dots). |
