When reloading is there a separate die for 45 ACP or can you use the 45 LC dies?

You need 45 ACP dies.

LC dies are very unlikely to have a taper crimp.

The .45 ACP headspaces on the case mouth, so a roll crimp cannot be used.

I would use the dedicated ACP dies.

That's the answer I was looking for. Thanks for the detail. I'd forgotten about the crimp differences
