Whats the latest on the spring upgrades?
My G-17 was upgraded to an 02 spring and I still have malfunctions with it. I installed the Glockmeister recoil spring assembly and it seems to have taken care of all the problems. I was reading on another site that Glock was now sending out 04 springs and still haven't got the problem solved. Whats the latest that y'all have heard? |

The most recent 04 springs are for the compact Glocks, particularly the G19. If you're having issues you should call Glock and they will send you one.
The last revision on the full size pistols is the 02 recoil assembly, however I recently learned Glock is working on yet another but the weight wont change, it is only to make assembly easier since there is no countersink in the slide where the guide rod is first inserted. |
| i spoke to glock today. they said to call back after the 21st for the new springs. The interesting thing is he said that the springs were made for 124 grn. bullets and i was having trouble because I was firing the 115 grn bullets. The rep at glock said that the new springs are made to work with underpowered ammo and i will have to keep the old springs to use with higher velocity ammunition. |
