| Just want to get some opinions of the effectiveness of this round in the 5.7 pistol. I have used the round on several varmints and was not very impressed. In one case the target (raccoon) just sat and looked at me after sending two rounds into its center mass. This was with the more light weight faster moving ss195.. I do not believe there was enough mass in the target for the bullet to do what it was designed to do. I am just looking for any sort of experience people have had with this round in the field. I use this as carry gun when the I don't feel like carrying the Colt Commander... Should I be trusting my life with this 5.7 round? When I first bought the gun my thoughts where.."what this bullet does not have in mass you can make up for with quantity." I am only interested in results of the round through the pistol. I have the rifle as well and it has proven itself more so that the pistol in my own opinion.. Any thoughts on this would be great... |
