Anybody know where to get an 80% 1911 frame? Everywhere I've found online is out of stock or sold out.

I think the BATFE ruled that the old 80% frames were "too complete" and forced the makers to back them down to 60%.
http://www.ktordnance.com is one place I've bought some frames in the past. Looks like their prices have gone up to the point that it wouldn't be worthwhile any more... unless you have other reasons for avoiding a FFL transfer of a complete frame. |
