Anyone with a 9000? I was curious what eveyone thinks about them.

Concensus seems to be to avoid them. VERY heavy trigger, the safety doesn't go on or off "normally" (too stiff), etc. etc.

Beretta won't win any sales awards on these, IMO.

Short, fat, light, very smooth. Nice pocket or purse pistol (no sharp edges, won't snag the lining of your purse). Cool looking if you like that sort of thing.

Not a pistol I would take to a shooting match. And they are so smooth it can be hard to get a grip on the slide.

I have the DAO .40 (no safety).

Apparently I'm the odd man out-I like mine, it's accurate, fast, comes to point, and plays hell with steel plates.Shot with Sig, Colt, Kimber, and had no problem keeping up.But then I like Makarovs too..

Nobody said they wouldn't shoot. I always have trouble adjusting to a shorter pistol.
